Experimental Steak Marinade

I'm composing this one from scratch. Will report how it turns out. Made April 1st, 2011: Turned out AWESOME (no fooling). Even better than the Tough Steak Marinade I had before. Marinated for two days in the fridge, turned once.

1/2 cup Italian dressing
1/4 cup soy sauce, low sodium
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce (a little shy)
4 cloves fresh garlic, shredded or minced
2 Tablespoons prepared Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon oregano

Things I keep finding in other marinade recipes:
  • soy sauce
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • oil (vegetable or olive)
  • garlic (fresh or powder)
  • lemon juice
  • mustard (yellow or Dijon)
  • ground ginger
  • Italian dressing
  • barbeque sauce
  • brown sugar
  • ketchup
  • oregano
  • vinegar (red wine, balsamic, or cider)
  • water (yeah? yeah.)
